Greetings to the entire Warrior Family,
It is a great day to be a Warrior. As we are on the brink of this new and very different year, I know that we are all feeling a variety of emotions. I realize that some are excited about this new journey, where others may be anxious. I want to express to you that we are all in this together. We are here for you. Our entire school faculty has been working hard throughout the summer to prepare for this moment. We are ready to care for, nurture, and educate our most prized possession-our students.
This is a moment of new beginnings. Change can be challenging and yet rewarding at the same time. Our goal is to use these changes that we are currently facing to develop a new tomorrow in education. Our current situation has forced us to take a deeper look at our traditional educational practices. The ways that we use resources and technology to improve how we conduct education will be monumental. During these times, we are redefining the methods in which we plan and deliver instruction. We are employing innovative techniques that have never been used before. As we embark on this journey, we will continue to grow, learn, and develop.
Challenges often take us to a place that stretches us beyond our imagination. It is in difficult times that we realize that we can achieve far more than we ever thought we could achieve. Challenges force us outside of our comfort zones. It is outside of our comfort zones where we allow ourselves to discover new things about ourselves. Outside our comfort zone we are driven to achieve new heights. Right now, we are all out of our comfort zones; at WAHS we will use this opportunity to rediscover ourselves and achieve new heights. Though we may not conceive it right now, I assure you that on the other side of this challenge you will find greatness.
This fall we will face our challenges and we will go where no man or woman has gone before in education; we will do this together. Together we do care! We are Warriors! On family, moving in One direction, toward One goal.
