Scholarships and Financial Aid
Scholarships for 9th-12th grade students can be found through the Naviance Portal. Many of the scholarships posted have live links, while others will direct you to Shelby Poole, School Counselor, who will be able to give you a paper copy of the application. If you have any questions about scholarships, please contact Shelby Poole in the Counseling Office at 434-823-8700 ext 3 or spoole@k12albemarle.org.
In order to get any type of financial aid, you must complete a FAFSA Application.

The UVA Jefferson Scholars Program informational session was hosted on Wednesday, Sept 23rd. If you are interested in seeking the nomination from WAHS, please send your updated resume to Shelby Poole at spoole@k12albemarle.org with the Subject Header-- UVA Jefferson Scholars by October 16th. The Emily Couric Leadership Forum Scholarship informational session was hosted on Thursday Sept 24th.
